Erva Droppo . . .

        Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Villa in Cornwall on Thursday, July 9th, 2026, Erva Droppo (nee Smith) of Chesterville, age 90.  Beloved wife of the late Murray Droppo.  Loving mother of Lynda Ferguson (late David) of Chesterville and Stephen Droppo (Joanne) of Belleville.  Dear sister of June McDermid (late Lyal) of Crysler, Carl Smith (Muriel) of Chesterville, Ann McMillan (Ronald) of Chesterville, Bill Smith (Beverly) of Morrisburg and Lyle Smith (Sandra) of Glen Walter.  Dear sister-in-law of Lois Smith of Chesterville.  Erva will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Ashley Manktelow (Jay), Evan Droppo (Kelsey), Courtney Ferguson, Jodie Droppo (Eric) and her great-granddaughter Emmerson Manktelow.  She was predeceased by her parents Angus and Vera Smith (nee Merkley), her sister Jean Byers, her brother Jack Smith and her grandson Nolan Droppo.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.  

Funeral Arrangements . . .

        A public graveside service will be held at Maple Ridge Cemetery on Tuesday, July 14th at 1:00 p.m. followed by a reception at the Royal Canadian Legion in Chesterville.
