One Bowl Orange Pound Cake . . .
Ingredients:
• 1.5 cups flour
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup oil
• 3/4 cup fresh orange juice
• 1/4 cup yogurt
• 3 Eggs
• Zest of 3 oranges
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
• A pinch of salt
Orange Syrup (optional)
• 1/2 cup sugar with 1 cup orange juice and the zest of one orange.
Method:
1. Rub the sugar with the orange zest, then add the eggs, vanilla, yogurt, oil, and orange juice and mix.
2. Mix the dry ingredients together and add them to the wet mixture. Do not overmix.
3. Pour the mixture into an 8x4 inch pan lined with parchment paper. Bake in the oven at 160c for roughly an hour.
4. As soon as the cake is baked, pour the warm syrup and enjoy!
