Erna Jakel . . .
Passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, June 27th, 2026, Erna Jakel (nee Wegscheider) of Iroquois, age 96. Loving wife of the late Jurgen Jakel. Loving mother of Bernd Jakel (Manuela) of Germany, Oliver Jakel (Carol) of Guelph and Susanne Wegele (Peter) of Germany. Dear sister of Anne Link (late Alfred) of Germany. Erna will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Alexander, Max, Naomi, Justin, Sophia, Maria and her great-granddaughter Emelia-Grace. She was predeceased by her parents Johan and Maria Wegscheider (nee Kraus) and her sisters Irmgard Wegscheider and Elizabeth Mertz. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
