Mitchell Hepburn Cassell . . .

        Passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, July 26th, 2026, Mitch Cassell of Morrisburg, age 88.  Loving husband of Deanna Cassell (nee Cougler) for almost 70 years.  Loving father of David Cassell (Cynthia) of Prescott, Jeff Cassell (Melanie) of Morrisburg and Dean Cassell of Morrisburg.  Dear brother of Harry Cassell (late Marjorie) of Winchester. Dear brother-in-law of Shirley Cassell of Morrisburg.  Mitch will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Crystal Turner (Justin), Cody Cassell (Shannon Baldwin), Kayla Cassell (Angus Thurrott) and his great-grandchildren Charlie, Jordyn, Leila, Griffin, Fallon, Cambrie, Kayden, Kingston, Damien, Georgia and Scarlett.  He was predeceased by his parents Douglas and Luella Cassell (nee Harper), his sisters Betty Daw (Carl), Shirley Scott (Harold) and his brothers Junior Cassell (Joyce), Walter Cassell (Hedda), John Cassell (Dawn) and Charlie Cassell.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Arrangements . . .

        A Celebration of Mitch’s life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion in Morrisburg on Sunday, August 9th from   1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
