Terrence Dexter Buske . . .

        Terrence Dexter Buske, in his 84th year passed peacefully on September 7th, 2025, surrounded by the comfort of his family and the country music that he loved. Terry, loving husband of Judy (née VanWart) was the most amazing Dad to Laurie (Kevin), Kelly (Andrew) and Ryan (Naja). He was also a deeply devoted, caring and involved Grandpa to Morgan, Dexter, Noah and Emma, whose presence brought him the most joy to his life.

       For 37 years, Terry was a dedicated teacher with the Ottawa Carleton District School Board. Those who were taught by “Mr. B” will never forget his kindness, sense of fun, and his penchant for English grammar.

        Terry was known for his warm heart and gentle spirit. He found joy strumming his guitar, teeing off on the golf course with family and friends, tending to his gardens, and woodcarving in his workshop, all the while telling a steady stream of “dad” jokes.

        Terry was an avid sports enthusiast and coach. As a spectator, he rarely missed a Toronto Blue Jays or Ottawa Senators game, but nothing brought him more joy than watching his grandchildren participate in their various sports and activities. Terry lived his life with kindness, empathy and compassion for everyone. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

         In keeping with Terry’s wishes there will be no visitation or service.
