Shirley Empey . . .

        Passed away peacefully at the Montfort Hospital in Ottawa on Tuesday, September 9th, 2025, Shirley Empey (nee Casselman), formerly of Williamsburg, in her 90th year.  Beloved wife of the late Lorne Empey. Loving mother of Lois Moore (late Erick) of Ottawa.  Shirley will be fondly remembered by her granddaughters Jessie and Allison.  Dear sister of Gwen Hess of Winchester Springs.  She was predeceased by her son Dale Empey, her daughter Linda Whitteker, her sister Eleanor Schwerdtfeger and her brothers Lloyd, Paul, Keith “Mick”, Clayton and Clare Casselman.  She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Funeral Arrangements . . .

        Friends may call at the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home, Williamsburg, on Friday, September 12th from   9:30 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will be at New Union Cemetery in Williamsburg.  A luncheon will follow at Cedar Glen Golf Course.
