Ernie Hunter . . .

        Ernie Hunter, proud member of the Corps of Commissionaires for 42 years, passed away peacefully at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Saturday, August 30th, 2025, at the age of 80.

         Beloved husband of the late Suzanne Hunter (née Beaulieu). Loving brother of Ed Hunter (Lise) and Bob Hunter (Patricia), both of Ottawa. He was predeceased by his loving sister Linda Kennis. He will be deeply missed by his cherished canine companion, Lily, as well as by his nieces and nephews. 

        Ernie will be remembered for his dedication, kindness, and unwavering service. His gentle soul, generosity of spirit, and willingness to help others touched the lives of all who knew him. Ernie’s legacy of kindness will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.

Funeral Arrangements . . .

        Visitation will be held at the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home in Williamsburg on Monday, September 8th from 12 noon until 1:00 p.m., followed by the memorial service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, with a reception to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion in Morrisburg.  Donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 48 in Morrisburg would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
