Barbara Jean Knapp . . .

1953 - 2025 

        It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Barbara Jean Knapp (nee Barkley) of Winchester at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Monday, July 28th, 2025, at the age of 72. She left us after navigating her illness with extraordinary strength, courage and grace. She was surrounded by the comforting love of family and caring staff of the WDMH on her final day. She leaves behind her loving husband of 53 years, Steven Knapp and two daughters Shawna and Amanda (Simon Beaulieu). Barbara will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Jessica (Bryce Rutley), Sarah, Meaghan, Jon, Will and her great-grandson Elliott. She was predeceased by her parents Orlin and Betty Barkley.

Funeral Arrangements . . .

        A Celebration of Barbara’s Life will be held at the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home in Williamsburg on Sunday,    August 24th from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. A private service will be held at a later date with interment at Maple Ridge Cemetery.
