Sunday, Nov. 15th - Shooting photographs of the very young people playing hockey, to us, is a treat beyond comparison. Although the photos are intended to bring you keepsake memories, we are honoured to enjoy this opportunity to watch your children, from a comfortably close range, develop and grow. And for that we are thankful.
It is unbelievably good for one's imagination watching the initiation groups. Witnessing an attempt by a goaltender to stop a shot by sliding, belly pad down toward the puck, then realizing how great a slide one can enjoy playing goal. Or while tumbling onto the ice during a goalmouth scramble, and suddenly being overcome by the need to practice one's snow angel technique. No apologies, just part of the game at this age. These are the next stars of television's Saturday night hockey broadcasts.
Hopefully, we have captured a photo or two you can download and keep. A memory from a time and place that may well be storied in the coming years. A reminder that we are so fortunate in these times to get to watch these energetic and happy young people having the time of their lives. If we've missed your child, we are approachable at the rink. And we, at times, need to be reminded that 'number whatever' hasn't had a turn in the pictures. We will make sure they get a turn.
We've had to split the photos from this U7 group into two slide shows. We are limited in numbers per each slide show.
Enjoy the photos . . .
