Saturday, Nov. 14th - Our efforts to provide coverage of the young people playing hockey are intended to bring you keepsake memories through photographs from the arena at this trying time. We, behind the camera, are experiencing somewhat of a rethinking of the game at these ages, as an entirely new chorus of sounds rattle off the glass surrounding the ice enclosure. This unfamiliar yet abundant laughter and these squeals of excitement have been uncommon during actual hockey games in past seasons. It would seem the players, all of the players, are having a great time, a child's time if you will, at a game they love to play - regardless of ability.
So hopefully, we have captured a shot or two you can download and keep. A memory from a time and place that may well be storied in the coming years. A reminder that we are so fortunate in these times to get to watch these energetic and happy young people having the time of their lives - and if we've missed your child, we are approachable at the rink. And we, at times, need to be reminded that 'number whatever' hasn't had a turn in the pictures. We will make sure they get a turn.
