Alida Corput . . .

         Passed away peacefully at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Sunday, May 25th, 2025, Alida Corput (nee Meyer) of Dunbar, age 88.  Loving wife of John Corput for 57 years.  Loving mother of Andy Corput (Stacey) of Dunbar.  Dear sister of Riet Baas (late Anton) of Almonte and Theo Meyer of Holland.  Oma will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Josh, Machar and Lual.  She was predeceased by her parents Bartholomeus and Gerarda Meyer (nee Versteeg), her sisters Gret Kersten (Ger) and Alie Meyer and her brothers Toon, Bart, Jaap and Jan Meyer (Joke).   She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Funeral Arrangements . . .

        Friends may call at the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home in Chesterville on Thursday, May 29th from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Presentation Roman Catholic Church in Chesterville on Friday, May 30th at 11:00 a.m.  A reception will follow at St. Clare’s Anglican Church in Winchester.  

        Interment will  be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Chesterville.
